ABO Clinical Examination

Electronic Submission

After you register for an exam, you will be notified by email that the electronic submission process is available to you. Case report data and allowable digital models must be submitted to the ABO electronically prior to your exam date. Case report data consists of four reports for each case: Written Case Report, Discrepancy Index, Cast-Radiograph Evaluation, and Case Management Forms.

You may choose your method of submitting the case report data:

  • Download the Case Report Work File, fill in and upload to the ABO electronic submission site
  • Login and enter your reports directly to the ABO electronic submission site
  • Use a combination of both methods.

A more thorough explanation of this process can be found at Electronic Submission. Be advised that an enhanced version of the Case Report Work File was released July 2010. All versions of the Case Report Work File are uploadable.

No matter which method you use, you will continue to verify and complete your data on the ABO website, as well as submit allowable digital models. You may return as many times as needed. When you are sure all data is accurate, you will mark each case as Complete, and select SUBMIT TO ABO. We encourage you to login and enter your data early to verify that you have data meeting current year specifications.

To return, you may bookmark this page, or follow the link at ABO website Online Services-Clinical Exam Electronic Submission.

After submission, you can download a copy of your final case reports to Save and/or Print.

Enter the process by logging in below. Remember that your password is case sensitive. The deadline for final submission is two weeks prior to your exam date.
