ABO announces new and recertified Diplomates
The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certified or recertified 85 examinees who participated in the Clinical Examination in June in St. Louis, Mo.
Sixty-one orthodontists successfully completed the Gateway Certification Examination, thereby maintaining their certification. Of the orthodontists who presented cases for the Initial Certification Examination (ICE), 22 became Diplomates, and eight banked cases for the eventual completion of the ICE. Two orthodontists maintained certification by successfully completing the Beginning Certification Examination.
